Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative supports internal branches and external customers by accurately entering orders, providing timely information, and ensuring a smooth sales and rental process. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to customer and branch inquiries via phone and email with clear, professional communication.
- Enter and maintain accurate orders, requisitions, and customer data in the ERP system.
- Provide updates on product availability, pricing, shipping, and order status.
- Coordinate shipments and monitor order progress proactively.
- Identify basic parts and provide general product information.
- Communicate production or inventory concerns to appropriate teams and follow through to resolution.
- Collaborate with planning, purchasing, production, and service centers to support inventory and operational needs.
- Maintain reports, documentation, and invoices as required.
- Support teammates by sharing best practices and helping reduce unnecessary escalations.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and follow instructions thoroughly.
- Experience working with ERP systems and familiarity with inventory processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Strong customer service skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and time management.
- Professional, proactive work habits and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 5 years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing, operations, or distribution.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
