Warehouse Assistant; Effective

Position: Warehouse Assistant (Effective 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR)
SUMMARY

Receives, stores and issues food provisions, food service equipment and supplies at central kitchen and to TUSD sites.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

One-year shipping and receiving or warehouse experience OR One year experience driving delivery vehicles on routes.

Verbal and written communications skills.

Knowledge of basic math principles.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Six months experience operating a forklift and/or airlift.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

FBI fingerprint background check

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

Must hold a current Arizona state operator's (CLASS

D) license and have accrued no more than the allowable points against Driver's License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.

ADOT (Arizona Dept. of Transportation) Medical Certificate required after hire

Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of auto insurance policy. Coverage must be valid throughout term of employment.

Post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and 75 lb lift test.

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
