Operates buses for the Amphitheater School District to transport students and other persons to and from educational activities. Regular attendance is essential to perform this role effectively.

Position Details

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Arizona driver's license (Bus Driver trainees must possess this)
  • Meet all Arizona School Bus Driver requirements at the time of employment offer
  • Possession of an Arizona Class B Commercial Driver's License or an equivalent from an adjacent state
  • Ability to meet Arizona Department of Public Safety Physical Performance Test requirements
  • Obtain First Aid and CPR certifications from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association for both children and adults, as a condition for state certification
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
