Job Description # Software Engineer - ENG
02 - Cleared On-Site
* Bachelor’s degree in
** Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
*** Experience developing and integrating applications using: +
** C++**,
** C#**,
** Java**,
** Python**,
** Visual Basic**, or similar languages
* Experience using
** Integrated Development Environments (IDEs)
** and debugging tools to troubleshoot software
* Experience working in
** Windows environments**, including
** Microsoft Visual Studio
*** Ability to troubleshoot software and test instrumentation at the system level
* ** Active Secret security clearance
** required prior to start
- Minimum
** 2+ years
** of relevant engineering or software‑development experience (or an advanced degree)
* Knowledge of
** computer architecture
** and hardware‑optimization techniques
* Experience developing
** software drivers
** for hardware interfaces
* Familiarity with communication protocols: +
** TCP/IP**,
** UDP**, etc.
* Experience using
** UML
* * for software architecture and design visualization
* Understanding of software development life cycles: +
** Waterfall**,
** Agile
* ** Knowledge of
** Software Configuration Management (SCM)
** principles* Experience with tools such as
** Azure Dev Ops Server
** or
** Git Hub
* ** Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
