Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Tucson, AZ, for a Licensing Specialist. The Licensing Specialist will manage the foster care licensing process, guide families through licensing requirements, and ensure all documentation and regulations are met. Daily responsibilities include performing research, conducting assessments, maintaining regular communication with families, and providing exceptional customer service. The position involves collaboration with staff members and community partners to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Licensing and a strong understanding of the foster care system
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills for engaging with families and community partners effectively
- Analytical Skills and Research capabilities for evaluating documentation and compliance requirements
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience or knowledge in child welfare services is considered a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred
- Familiarity with state and local foster care and adoption licensing policies is an advantage
