Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine wiring layouts and specifications.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using appropriate testing devices and techniques.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local and national electrical codes.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and carpenters, to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and inquiries professionally and patiently.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including time, materials used, and any costs incurred.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Stay current on industry trends, technology, and best practices related to electrical work.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by state or local regulations.
- Proven experience as an electrician (minimum 3 years) in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and circuits.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as testing instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
