Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Service Plumber to join our growing service department. This role focuses on diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and customer-facing service work in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, customer-oriented, and capable of working independently in the field.

Job Title: Service Plumber
Department: Service & Repair
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports to: Service Department Manager
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems including water, waste, vent, and gas systems
- Service and replace water heaters (tank and tankless)
- Troubleshoot fixtures, valves, piping systems, and drainage issues
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive service work
- Accurately document service calls, materials used, and labor hours
- Provide clear communication and professional service to customers
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards
- Journeyman or equivalent plumbing experience preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of service plumbing experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with residential and light commercial service work
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service schedules
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces as required
- Backflow certification (if applicable)
- Gas line installation and repair experience
- Experience with service management software
- Cross-connection knowledge
- Base Salary: DOE
