Job Summary

Responsible for operating and maintaining a cure truck. Ensures liner is cured and all aspects of liner install have been completed.

Responsibilities
  • Operate UV Light Train to ensure the liner is fully cured
  • Use, record, and troubleshoot curing applications
  • Set up and operate CIPP light train equipment
  • Set up and operate various handheld and hand operated equipment including power tools, shovels, etc.
  • Place traffic cones and other barricades at job sites; remove manhole covers and examine manholes to determine proper set-up procedure
  • Locate line sections to be inspected, using map, and determine set up procedures; set up winches, determine wheel size and install proper offsets; plug line
  • Operate and adjust wattage/air controls to obtain optimum pressure and wattage
  • Determine supplies necessary for the daily operation of the cure truck and equipment; assist with liner installation
  • Prepare packers, connect necessary liner to packer, and operate air unit to inflate liner
  • Remove light train, air hoses, and packers from liner when cure operation is complete
  • Clean and store light train, packers, and all equipment on truck after use
  • Adhere to B&F Code of Conduct
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Operate equipment and perform basic maintenance and repair
  • Able to operate autonomously and as part of a team
  • Able to problem solve
  • Able to review and red-line plans, technical specifications, project documentation
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to:
  • The outdoor elements, subject to variations in temperature and weather conditions, equipment noise, and dust, fumes or airborne particles
  • May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing, or kneeling
The employee is occasionally exposed to:
  • Toxic or caustic chemicals
