Certified Crane OperatorMcMillen, Inc. is seeking a certified crane operator to safely operate our Lattice Boom Crawler Manitowoc 555 and deliver high volume, quality work in a safety‑conscious environment. The operator must be willing to perform related duties outside the cab and will travel 100% of the time.
Responsibilities- Safely operate the Lattice Boom Crawler Manitowoc 555
- Produce high volume, quality work while maintaining a safety‑conscious work environment
- Communicate effectively with boat captains, foremen, and laborers to ensure quality work in high volume, time‑sensitive conditions
- Travel 100% of the time
- Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear
- Frequently required to sit, climb, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Frequently required to stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above shoulders
- Occasionally lift and/or move 75 to 100 lbs
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, including climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stopping, and handling materials
- Repetitive use of hands and wrists using power, rotational, and vibration tools
- Functions with regular supervision from managers/supervisors
- Applies common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Must be willing to get out of equipment and assist with laborer duties as needed
- Certified crane operator
- NCCCO Crane Certification for Lattice Boom Crawler and RT cranes
- Crawler crane experience required
- Prior experience operating cranes on water preferred
- Pass a drug test and background check
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation to and from work
$35.00 - $45.00/hour; DOE.
