An HVAC Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial and residential HVAC systems. Work to be performed throughout Southern Arizona at US Border Patrol Stations. 4-10s. No on-call. DOE $23-28, plus $4.41 H&W. Must pass the Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation.

• Must pass the Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation
• Ability to perform most tasks of the craft without supervision
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, construction drawings, schematics and diagrams
• Ability to drive safely
• Trained in all types and sizes of air conditioning refrigeration and evaporative cooling equipment
• EPA certification to purchase and handle ozone-depleting chemicals as outlined in federal and state regulations
• Work in a team
• Boiler and Chiller experience a plus

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., squat, bend, stoop and kneel for short periods, climb a ladder, stand for long periods, and perform constant arm extensions
• Occasional exposure to elements such as heat, cold, noise, dust, chemicals, but not to a disagreeable degree. Minor safety hazards possible.
• Driving two to four hours daily
