Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians diagnose truck problems and perform truck repairs, create repair plans, fill out parts requisitions, tag warranty parts, communicate updates to the Foreman, maintain organized workstations, and maintain a clean safe work environment. Technicians must possess the skills noted below and maintain an efficiency rating of 85% or above.

Levels:

• D-Level Technician
  • Perform basic chassis repairs
  • Perform basic engine repairs
  • Able to remove & install chassis components
  • Able to perform preventative maintenance
  • Competent in internal/factory warranty processes
• C-Level Technician
  • Basic diagnostic skills
  • Comfortable with major vendor/factory repairs and procedures
  • Can perform most chassis repairs
  • Can perform most engine repairs
  • Able to perform complete engine remove & install
• B-Level Technician
  • Advanced diagnostics skills
  • Complete engine repairs within SRT time
  • Complex chassis repairs within SRT time
  • Knowledgeable on all vehicle component repairs
  • HVAC
• A-Level Technician
  • Proficient on all vehicle component repairs
  • Able to diagnose all vehicle component failures
  • Competent in root cause failure analysis
  • Vibration analysis
  • Aftertreatment repairs
  • Aftertreatment diagnostics

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must pass a post offer drug test and physical exam.

• $24-45/hour based on experience and qualifications
