This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will deliver clear communication and customer service with patients, visitors, and staff while living Allied Universal values through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned areas including entrances, lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards requiring attention.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity; greet and direct visitors, assist with way finding, and communicate visitor-related concerns to site contacts per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including dispatching calls for service, assisting with de-escalation support, and documenting actions taken.
- Complete security-related reports such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol documentation; communicate with site personnel and/or public responders as directed.
- Hospital site requires vaccines.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
