Security Officer

We are looking for a professional and responsible Security Officer to patrol and monitor the property and act as a deterrent to crime and oversee resident safety. As a Security Officer you will respond to all resident’s emergency calls and observe and report any unusual activities that take place throughout the property. You will enforce the policies and rules set forth by Christian Care and protect the rights of all residents within the framework of Federal, State and Local laws.

Additionally, this is a hybrid role which involves both security and maintenance. It offers a great opportunity for the experienced Security Officer who enjoys manual tasks. The maintenance ‘arm’ of your role will require you to assist with general on-site repairs such as painting, moving furniture, and unblocking drains as directed by your manager while working as an enthusiastic team player to complete tasks and meet needs as they become apparent.

• Monitor alarms and closed‑circuit television cameras.
• Perform data entry.
• Answer phones and direct calls accordingly.
• Contact emergency services as needed.
• Assist with general on‑site repairs such as painting, moving furniture, and unblocking drains.

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a Security Guard preferred.
• Senior lift assist training required.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license required.
• Fingerprint clearance card required.
• Guard card required.
• Great observation, good judgment, common sense, and excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Some experience or training in computer operation.
