Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will support sales staff by coordinating orders, inventory, and product distribution.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive customer phone calls; provide support to customers and contractors via phone and in person
• Refer to product catalogs and specification guides to determine related product uses and applications
• Work closely with outside sales representatives regarding sales promotions and initiatives which require phone contact and follow-up
• Help customers with design ideas or problems; provide customer feedback to management
• Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch and keep customers informed of such schedules
• Retrieve information for the credit department when needed
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or related education/experience
• Forklift experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Previous sales experience required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Experience with multi-line phone systems preferred
• Knowledge of concrete masonry is a plus
