Our client, a world leader in life sciences and biotechnology, is looking for a Senior Research Associate based out of Tucson, AZ.
Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)
Pay Rate: $34 - $38/hr on W2

The Senior Research Associate will support research, development, and manufacturing laboratory activities. This role focuses on designing and executing complex laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and supporting projects that contribute to the development of advanced diagnostic technologies.
The successful candidate will work independently on experimental design and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot problems and deliver scientific results.
Key Responsibilities- Design experimental plans to support project objectives and scientific studies.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and document detailed observations and results.
- Analyze experimental data and prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
- Develop and optimize laboratory methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
- Identify and implement improvements to laboratory processes and workflows.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Participate in or lead cross‑functional technical teams such as failure investigations or project teams.
- Present experimental procedures, data, and results to project teams and stakeholders.
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment and provide creative solutions to complex problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related scientific field.
- 6+ years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or
- 1+ year of relevant experience with a Master’s degree.
- Hands‑on experience with Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
- Experience with In Situ Hybridization (ISH)
- Laboratory experimentation and assay development
- Experimental design and troubleshooting
- Scientific data analysis and documentation
- Experience working in collaborative laboratory environments
