The Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine is seeking a Research Technician I. The position assists and supports the Principal Investigator (PI) and other research staff with routine technical support on research projects, performing routine laboratory tasks and experiments, and recording results. Additional responsibilities include assisting in the preparation, sanitation, and clean‑up of lab equipment, instruments, and glassware.

Duties & Responsibilities- Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments, glassware, and solutions.
- Assist PI and other laboratory staff with cell culture and setting up experiments.
- With supervision, perform basic or routine experiments and tests following instructions and procedures.
- Assist PI in preparation of technical reports and protocols.
- Record results, maintain experimental data, analyze and track results.
- Provide basic administrative support to research staff on projects.
- May coordinate and order lab supplies.
- Ensure compliance with University regulations and trainings.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and safety policies.
- Self‑motivation, good work ethic, problem‑solving, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or learning attained through experience.
- Prior work experience not required.
