Position Overview: Responsible for ensuring all airworthiness quality requirements are performed and documented in accordance with applicable regulations concerning maintenance, repair, and alteration of aircraft, engines, and components for which the Repair Station is rated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to General Work Requirements in coordination with Quality leadership
- Conduct weighing procedures as per manufacturer practices
- Obtain documentation upon aircraft arrival, complete records, and document receipt
- Coordinate inspection activities using computer tracking maintenance programs (e.g., CAMPS, AVTRAC)
- Perform inspections of aircraft, engines, parts, and components using precision tools in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Inspect all new, repaired, and rebuilt parts for damage, count, and conformity upon receipt
- Ensure all work packages and records are accurately documented and all regulatory paperwork is complete
- Research aircraft drawings and technical data (e.g., REO, ENICO, EO, DCN)
- Perform walk-around inspections for release from maintenance
- Perform return-to-service procedures ensuring aircraft meets all airworthiness requirements
- Provide data to customers as requested
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent
- At least 2 years of corporate/commercial jet experience
- Owns basic hand tools with inventory control skills
- Holds A&P Certification
- Proficient in using measuring and test equipment
- Ability to interpret regulatory documents and actions
- Knowledge of FAA Regulations, CAA, RSM/QCM, ADs, SBs, TCDS, etc.
- Understanding of return-to-service procedures
- Ability to train, coach, and mentor team members
