Responsibilities
As a Home Team/Critter Control Wildlife Service Technician, you can expect to:
* Safely, humanely, and effectively manage nuisance wildlife on residential, commercial, and rural properties across Arizona
* Inspect properties to identify wildlife activity, entry points, and environmental or structural conditions contributing to infestations
* Implement humane trapping, relocation, and exclusion strategies in compliance with state and federal wildlife regulations
* Repair and seal entry points and install exclusion materials to prevent future wildlife intrusion
* Work with a wide variety of Arizona wildlife, including raccoons, skunks, bats, snakes, pack rats, pigeons, and other desert-adapted species
* Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls in urban, rural, and desert environments
* Educate customers on wildlife behavior, prevention methods, and long-term solutions
* Document inspections, findings, and services performed accurately and thoroughly
* Communicate professionally with customers, demonstrating strong problem-solving and customer service skills
* Perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing ladders, working in attics and crawl spaces, handling tools, and working outdoors in varying conditions
* Follow safety standards, humane handling practices, and company protocols at all times
* Participate in training, licensing, and ongoing education related to wildlife control and local ecosystems
