Description

HSSA is looking for a full-time clinic veterinarian to help us grow and expand the services we provide. A successful candidate for this position will be someone who is passionate about our mission of serving the people and pets in our community! Come work with a supportive and collaborative team with up-to-date technology. No on-call or after-hours! 4- 10 hour days with the occasional ½ day Saturday.

Limited interaction with clients, and no staff management. Excellent benefits!


Position Summary

The Clinic Veterinarian will be responsible for the spay/neutering of both shelter pets and owned pets, community vaccination and wellness clinics for owned pets, as well as special surgeries and dental services for shelter pets.

Position Requirements

Qualifications/Educational Background:

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
  • 3 Years of experience required
  • Must have a license to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Arizona

Compensation & Benefits Comprehensive benefit package including employer contributions to retirement plan (401K or Roth); medical, dental, vision & life insurance, access to voluntary supplemental, short- & long- term disability insurance; discounts on adoptions & vaccinations; paid time off for vacation, illness and holidays; & access to a fully company-paid EAP.
