Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for our med-surg patients in our advanced facilities that include a primary stroke center and a long-term acute care unit.

• The Nurse Extern role is designed to provide expanded clinical experience for senior professional (RN) nursing students
• Assist the Registered Nursing staff by performing patient care activities, which includes participating in:
  • Patient care planning
  • Implementation
  • Observation
  • Evaluation
  • Reporting significant observations to a Registered Nurse.

• Minimum Requirements:
  • Education:
    
    Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program and upon completion of first clinical rotation
  • Licensure/Certification: CPR
