- Position: Travel PACU Registered Nurse (RN) / Post Anesthesia Care Unit RN
- Assignment Type: Travel
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: February 23, 2026
• End: May 24, 2026) - Hours per Week: 36
- Shift: 12-hour days (05:45–18:00 and 07:45–20:30)
- On Call: 1 twelve-hour call (18:00–06:30) and 2 twenty-four-hour calls (06:00–06:00) per six weeks
- Openings: 2 PACU RN positions
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460–$1,540/week
- Minimum 2 years of recent PACU RN experience (post-anesthesia/post-op recovery)
- Active Arizona RN license or valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred (electronic medical record experience)
- Strong critical thinking, perioperative assessment, and patient monitoring skills
- Provide high-quality postoperative nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure safe transitions of care
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, pain management, airway monitoring, and hemodynamic support
- Follow the nursing process in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies
- Demonstrate clinical judgment and leadership when prioritizing care and delegating tasks
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and unit-based training
- Work in a supportive perioperative environment with experienced surgical teams
- Gain valuable PACU and perioperative nursing experience in Tucson, Arizona
- Explore outdoor recreation, scenic mountain views, and the Sonoran Desert during your assignment
