Job Description

Seeking qualified RN's to work day shift, night shift, PT, or Per Diem at Palo Verde Behavioral Health Hospital (PVBH), a bed, short‑term, acute care facility in Tucson, AZ. PVBH offers inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, and specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. The RN will provide comprehensive behavioral health care to children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses.

Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing or baccalaureate program required; current licensure as a Registered Nurse through the State of Arizona.

Experience: Clinical experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.

Minimum Requirements: Must be certified in CPR upon hire and bi‑annually thereafter and must possess or obtain and be able to perform Handle With Care within days of hire and re‑certify as needed. Must complete all required mandatory in‑services annually. Must possess an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain. Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest x‑ray upon hire and as required thereafter.
