MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule / Shift
Night
Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week, including six weekend shifts over a six-week schedule.
Job Description
The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing high-quality patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Acts and hospital policies and procedures. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills to ensure safe delivery of care while maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education. The nurse will delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff and provide direction and supervision to healthcare personnel delivering patient care.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the Nursing Process for patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in planning for patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Delegate and supervise patient care activities among assigned personnel.
- Participate in continuing education to maintain clinical competency.
- Active Arizona Nursing License.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Ability to float between departments and facilities as needed.
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
