Travel RN – Cardiac Observation – Tucson, AZ
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks | Start Date: 2/9/2026
Shift: 3 x 12s (varies 6:00 AM – 8:30 PM) | Rotational Call (Sat/Sun, ~every 4–6 weeks)
Care Setting: Cardiac Observation Unit (COU)

Human Edge Health is seeking an experienced Travel RN for the Cardiac Observation Unit. This unit cares for high-acuity Cath Lab patients pre- and post-procedure, including TEE, CV, and conscious sedation recovery. The RN collaborates closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient outcomes.

Position Overview:

• Admit, prep, and recover patients undergoing cardiac procedures

• Assist with bedside procedures including Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)

• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care

• Discharge patients with education and complete documentation

• Maintain safety and quality standards in a high-acuity environment

Requirements:

• RN license (AZ or compact)

• BLS & ACLS

• Minimum 2 years’ experience; experience in PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center considered
