Travel RN – Cardiac Observation – Tucson, AZ
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks | Start Date: 2/9/2026
Shift: 3 x 12s (varies 6:00 AM – 8:30 PM) | Rotational Call (Sat/Sun, ~every 4–6 weeks)
Care Setting: Cardiac Observation Unit (COU)
Human Edge Health is seeking an experienced Travel RN for the Cardiac Observation Unit. This unit cares for high-acuity Cath Lab patients pre- and post-procedure, including TEE, CV, and conscious sedation recovery. The RN collaborates closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient outcomes.
Position Overview:
Admit, prep, and recover patients undergoing cardiac procedures
Assist with bedside procedures including Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care
Discharge patients with education and complete documentation
Maintain safety and quality standards in a high-acuity environment
Requirements:
RN license (AZ or compact)
BLS & ACLS
Minimum 2 years’ experience; experience in PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center considered
