Systems float pool floats between TMC Main Campus and Rincon Campus

Unit Information

The Women’s Float Pool floats to Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, and the Women’s Care Unit. RNs must have the ability to care for labor and delivery Ante-, Intra-, and Postpartum patients, couplet care, and gynecology population.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in labor and delivery, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecology populations as part of the Women’s Services float pool.
  • Care for newborns and assist with mother-baby couplet care as applicable.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality and safe patient care across units.
Qualifications
  • Education: Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.
  • Experience: One year of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Licensure or Certification: Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Some departments such as OR, Ambulatory Surgery, Pediatrics/PICU, PACU, and GI Lab will require advanced life support certification (ACLS and PALS).
