Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available;

provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to provide effective patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in care planning.
• Delegate patient care priorities effectively based on staff experience.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in patient care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in telemetry nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active Arizona nursing license.
• Must be willing to float between departments and facilities.
• Availability to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
