MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, working 3 shifts per week including 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule.
Job Description
The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. This role requires critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure the safe delivery of care while managing clinical competencies through continuing education.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and manage patient care priorities.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient assessments.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuous education.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to assigned personnel.
- Provide direction and supervision to nursing staff delivering patient care.
- Float between departments as required.
- Valid Arizona Nursing License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience
- Ability to work in a float pool position across various departments
