Schedule
Day
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, working three 12-hour shifts per week with a commitment to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.
Job Description
The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is accountable for providing exceptional patient care by adhering to the Nursing Process in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies and procedures. This role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills to ensure the safe delivery of care. The Registered Nurse will maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education, effectively delegate patient care priorities, and oversee assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the Nursing Process for patient care delivery.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in planning care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities appropriately based on staff qualifications.
- Provide direction and supervision for staff delivering patient care.
- Valid Arizona nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting
