Registered Nurse – Night Shift $12K Bonus Behavioral Health
Join us at Sonora Behavioral Health Hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the night shift department. We offer a $12,000 bonus for full‑time clinicians.
Night Shift Details- Night shifts only
- Full‑time positions eligible for $12,000 bonus
- 3 / 12‑hour shift options
- Every other weekend off
- PRN availability

Essential Functions- Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about health conditions.
- Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by state regulations, policies and protocols.
- Ensure physicians’ orders are legible and transcribed appropriately.
- Assess patients’ status continually and document pertinent information.
- Notify physicians of significant changes (e.g., detox issues, medical emergencies, medication response).
- Complete initial treatment plans upon admission, tailored to assessed needs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of universal precautions in direct patient care.
- Accurately administer medications per ordered note and document controlled sub‑stance administration.
- Complete admission and discharge processing accurately and efficiently.
- Establish therapeutic rapport, maintain professional boundaries and rational detachment.
- Provide or coordinate unit activities as directed.
- Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, co‑workers, and others involved in inpatient treatment.
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (or eligibility per state regulations).
- One year of nursing experience; psychiatric, mental, behavioral or substance abuse experience preferred.
- CPR and de‑escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
