• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
• Collects and analyzes data about patients (physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors).
• Uses a systematic, dynamic approach to assessment and planning.
• Sets measurable and attainable short‑ and long‑range goals in collaboration with patients and families.
• Documents care plans and updates them as needed.
• Ensures patient safety, administers medications and ordered treatments, provides nursing care.
• Educates patients and families.
• Coordinates care including delegation, supervision, and prioritization.

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona licensed within 30 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or other certifications required by department.
