RN Pre Op/PACU – Cook Lowell Surgery Center

Camp Lowell Surgery Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Pre Op/PACU unit. The RN provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, evaluating the patient’s condition and ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy. The RN may assist physicians in the procedure rooms with tasks including conscious sedation and sterile techniques as appropriate. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care emerging from general anesthesia or sedation;

assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family for discharge.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing and active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• Two years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
