Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week.
Job Description
The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; and provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in the MS/Telemetry unit.
- Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
- Anticipate patient needs and implement appropriate interventions.
- Active Arizona RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
