Chasing What Chases You is a youth-focused nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young athletes discover their purpose through sports. We create a positive, structured, and challenging environment where athletes develop athletic skills, leadership, discipline, and resilience. Our programs emphasize personal growth both on and off the court, using sports as a tool to teach life lessons and prepare youth for long-term success.
This is an on-site, part-time Student Volunteer role based in Tucson, AZ
. Student Volunteers will support the day-to-day operations of a growing youth sports nonprofit while gaining hands-on experience in coaching, community outreach, fundraising, marketing, and program planning.
Volunteers will work closely with program leaders to assist with youth development activities, event execution, and organizational support. This role is ideal for students interested in sports management, nonprofit leadership, marketing, communications, education, or community development

Student Volunteers may assist in one or more of the following areas:
Youth Coaching & Mentorship- Support coaches during practices, training sessions, and games
- Assist with athlete skill development and structured activities
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth participants
- Assist with planning and executing fundraising events and community initiatives
- Support outreach to local businesses, families, and community partners
- Help prepare materials for donation requests and events
- Assist with social media content creation and posting
- Support marketing efforts to promote programs, events, and community impact
- Help capture photos, videos, and stories from practices and events
- Assist with parent and participant communication
- Help organize documents, schedules, and program materials
- Support website updates, registration support, and basic admin tasks
- Help plan and execute camps, clinics, and special events
- Assist with logistics, setup, breakdown, and coordination
- Support leadership in program planning and execution
- Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in youth development, sports, nonprofit work, or community leadership
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to work on-site in Tucson, AZ
- Prior experience in coaching, mentoring, volunteering, marketing, or fundraising is a plus (but not required)
- Hands-on experience in a real nonprofit organization
- Leadership and professional skill development
- Experience in youth coaching, nonprofit operations, and community engagement
