This program will empower low-income individuals in Arizona by addressing critical poverty-related challenges through community-driven solutions related to increasing financial capability and wellbeing. It will build on and leverage the capacity of Cooperative Extension to reach low-income communities by developing a volunteer recruitment, training, and management program focused on Financial Literacy Education and FAFSA Awareness. The program will increase the financial capability and wellbeing of Arizona residents through financial literacy education, resources, and materials.
MemberDuties
- Develop training materials and resources for staff to use when preparing volunteers for financial literacy programs.
- Develop outreach materials and partnership-mapping tools for staff to use during community engagement.
- Design a volunteer recruitment and reporting system for staff to implement.
- Develop FAFSA awareness materials and toolkits for use in outreach delivered by Extension personnel.
