Arizona Serve VISTA - VISTA Team Leader

Arizona Serve was created in 2006 when several Yavapai County service providers saw a need to build collaboration among Ameri Corps VISTA members and their projects. Today, Arizona Serve is housed in Prescott College and currently places over 25 Ameri Corps VISTA members with twenty‑two organizations and projects in Yavapai County and Pima County. Arizona Serve provides a fun, collaborative environment for these members.

The Arizona Serve VISTA Team Leader will work closely with Arizona Serve staff and other Team Leaders to support VISTA members in the upcoming VISTA year. This VISTA Leader position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about addressing poverty and enjoys working with a diverse and dynamic team.

• Support and coach VISTA members: provide coaching and support to members in monthly one‑on‑one meetings.
• Facilitate team meetings and trainings: cultivate a team culture that values collaboration, creativity and excellence. Create and facilitate engaging activities in monthly team meetings and facilitate training geared to support leadership and professional development.
• Plan events: actively participate in planning and executing several annual events including National Days of Service.
• Community outreach and recruitment: assist with outreach presentations, tabling events, and implementing social media outreach.
