Job SummaryThe Hardware In the Loop (HWIL) Department in Tucson, AZ is a multi-discipline organization responsible for designing, building and integrating state of the art testing environments (flight simulators for missiles), as the last step before flight test. On our team, you will work with weapon system designers to understand requirements, design solutions, integrate, and deploy the systems to help support tactical software development, testing, and delivery for missiles to the warfighter.
This role is 100% on-site at our Tucson, AZ campus.
What You Will Do- Work on a multi-disciplined team to support systems integration
- Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment
- Work in a lab environment integrating software, firmware and hardware in support of complex systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- This position requires 12 months or less of professional experience (excluding internships)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers
- Experience with using telemetry data collection equipment to capture real time data and/or real time monitoring
- Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols
- Experience with reading and integrating software routines with hardware/electronics; C/C++/C# preferred
- Experience with instrumentation and collection of large data sets, including the application of scripting or automation to data collection and analysis

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. This range is a good faith estimate representing all experience levels. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits as described, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, and paid time off. Benefits vary by business unit and bargaining coverage.
