Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Repetitive to non-repetitive assembly and testing, assembly, test, troubleshooting, and rework, of electronic and quartz components.
- Familiar with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot CCA board level components in accordance with established procedures.
- May perform manual assembly, hand soldering, and operation digital or analog test equipment.
- Participate in cell and operational cross training
- Other opeartional duties as needed
- Must possess specific certifications as defined by site operations.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of board assembly process and product process flow.
- Knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications.
- Ability to set up, operate, calibrate and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment and tools.
- Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process or with assembly components and to address those problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively within the functional team
- Ability to work effectively with team members
- Knowledge of in-circuit and functional test fixturing.
- Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in some or all of the following applications:
Word, Excel and Documentation control systems. SAP knowledge preferred - More advanced manufacturing systems knowledge
- Duties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment with occasional to frequent exposure to elements such as noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, etc.
- Duties of the position require periodic light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motions requiring manual dexterity and precise hand/eye co-ordination, sitting and or standing in confined work spaces, using tools and equipment, and moving and handling materials.
- Duties require extended periods of sustained visual concentration on detailed documentation and product assemblies.
- Above demands are carried out within the local existing Health and Safety guidelines.
- 5+ years relevant experience
- High school diploma and additional courses after high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience and a commitment towards further / additional education.
