Position: Quality Inspector I

Summary

Reporting to the Supervisor, Quality for Manufacturing, the Quality Control Inspector is responsible for assuring the quality of manufactured products by performing inspections, checks, and tests for complete Quality Control. The Inspector may be required to work overtime if production goals demand such, which may include evening or weekend hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs inspections, checks, and tests for Quality Control
  • Perform functions which include, but are not limited to:
  • Final Inspection of Manufactured Product (Circuit Card Assemblies / Line Replicable Units)
  • In‑process Assembly and Sub‑Assembly inspections
  • Pre shipment conformity verification
  • There is an expectation that certain Quality workstations will require extended use of microscope (20X).
  • Other duties as required
Competency

Assist in driving total Quality across all production. Ensuring Business Management System requirements are met.

Education and/or Experience
  • Minimum 3 years related experience required
  • H.S. diploma or equivalent required
