Sr Director Of Dining Services

Job Summary

The Sr. Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day food service operations within an acute care setting. You will manage and lead a team of employees, manage client relationships, profit for the account, and talent development.

• Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client with maximum value.
• Ensure the food offered is of superior quality.
• Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Maintain excellent relationships with guests, clients, and other departments in the community.
• Promote the professional growth and development of the entire team.
• Foster strong inter‑departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of additional experience.
• Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise.
• 3‑5 years of direct food service operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Food service in acute care/hospital setting highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience is desirable.
• Serv Safe® certified is a plus.
• Must be forward‑thinking, proactive, and the face of the company.
