Job Summary
The Sr. Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day food service operations within an acute care setting. You will manage and lead a team of employees, manage client relationships, profit for the account, and talent development.
Key Responsibilities- Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget while providing the client with maximum value.
- Ensure the food offered is of superior quality.
- Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
- Maintain excellent relationships with guests, clients, and other departments in the community.
- Promote the professional growth and development of the entire team.
- Foster strong inter‑departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of additional experience.
- Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise.
- 3‑5 years of direct food service operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
- Food service in acute care/hospital setting highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
- Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience is desirable.
- Serv Safe® certified is a plus.
- Must be forward‑thinking, proactive, and the face of the company.
