One of few in the nation, University of Arizona's Omnes Disability Student Space (ODSS) provides dedicated space on campus to explore and celebrate disability community, culture and identity.
The Coordinator is responsible for daily operational and logistical support and leadership for the ODSS.
The Coordinator plays an integral role in assessing campus-wide needs to ensure that ODSS programming is responsive to student needs, and where appropriate, develop new strategies for promoting disability advocacy on campus.

Duties and Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Omnes Disability Student Space, including front and back-office operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, managing personnel, student, staff and faculty inquiries, and space management. Ensure consistent and appropriate climate in the center.
- Supervise student worker staff including the creation of work schedules, task delegation and oversight of daily workflow of student workers, graduate assistants, and professional staff. Ensure that center operations incorporate an understanding of student development and leadership principles.
- Develop, coordinate, execute and assess innovative and effective programming that attends to the needs of students, staff/faculty, and community members as well as raises awareness of disability perspectives through the lens of disability studies.
- Manage budget items for departmental budgets, including management of the programming budget, personnel budget, oversight of any relevant scholarship administration, and maintaining financial records for department expenditures.
- Create and maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible space for students to come together in community to explore and celebrate disability community, culture and identity.

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience working in higher education, disability studies, or related setting focused on retention.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and initiatives.
- Experience providing crisis intervention and appropriate referrals to campus and community resources.
- Supervisory experience with the ability to oversee and direct the day-to-day work of multiple individuals (i.e., interns, and/or undergraduate students, graduate students).
- Master's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
- Employment Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week
- FLSA Status: Exempt
- Salary Range: $47,356 - $59,195
