Overview
Are you an experienced warehouse professional with strong leadership skills? Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, this role oversees and coordinates all warehouse operations for the Juvenile Court Center. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll manage a dedicated team, ensure accurate inventory control, and maintain efficient processes for the receipt, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment.
Job DescriptionUnder the direct supervision of the Director of Facilities, this position supervises the warehouse operation located at the Juvenile Court Center. Incumbent is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating warehouse supply personnel, directing daily work functions, and overseeing work quality.
Hiring Minimum$26.39 hr. / $54,900.35 annual

Distinguishing CharacteristicsThis is a classified position that reports to the Director of Facilities and performs duties under general supervision while supervising staff within the warehouse unit.
Minimum QualificationsA High School diploma or equivalent G.E.D. certificate and four years of work experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial warehousing and operational processing of the receipt and issuance of supplies, materials, and equipment; and purchasing for an organization or department, including at least one year of lead or supervisory responsibility in one of the aforementioned areas. OR any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education approved by Human Resources.
Preferred- Leadership & Operations: 2+ years supervising warehouse staff, with knowledge of procurement, vendor management, and safety standards (OSHA/MSDS).

Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in general facility maintenance (painting, plumbing, repairs). - Organization & Communication:
Strong ability to manage priorities and deadlines while collaborating effectively with staff and vendors. - Physical & Licensing:
Able to lift 50 lbs., and maintain a valid Arizona Class D Driver’s License.

Essential Duties & Functions- Supervises a staff of warehouse employees and the daily warehouse operations.
- Oversees receipt, issuance, inventory, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment for the various Juvenile Court Divisions.
- Coordinates scheduling of the work unit staff, verifies time records, authorizes absences, trains employees on new processes, evaluates employee work for quality, timeliness, and completion.
- Participates in recruitment and selection of new employees, coordinates training, establishes work objectives, and conducts performance appraisals.
- Interacts with staff at all levels of the organization to facilitate supply purchases and orders.
- Supervises disbursement of documents, materials, and equipment.
- Oversees warehouse inventory using automated and visual methods. Maintains cataloguing and identification records.
- Performs quarterly and annual warehouse inventories in coordination with Finance staff.
- Monitors the Court's automated inventory system.
- Recommends and assists in identifying equipment needs of the various court divisions.
- Maintains files and records for warehouse supplies, inventory, maintenance, and repair requests.
- Gathers and retrieves information from manual or automated systems to monitor supply usage.
- Prepares reports as requested.
- Ensures compliance with specifications and invoice terms for all materials, supplies, and equipment.
