RoleSummary
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Program Management for our Naval Power Strategic Business Unit, responsible for upgrading key programs within the Standard Missile family to support U.S. Navy (USN) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) production. The Associate Director supports the SM-2 IIICU / SM-6 IU Program Director and provides program leadership while supporting the execution and key phases of this complex development, critical for the continued production of Standard.mountile.
- On‑site position at our Tucson, AZ facility.
- Relocation assistance is not available.
- Support gebase Program Director for overall program success, company and customer success, on‑time delivery, and identification of new programmatic opportunities within the customer community.
- Partner with government customers to develop goals, strategy, and vision for this program.
- Manage cost and schedule performance of existing contracts or modifications and communicate program status and strategies to senior leadership.
- Support development of strategies to meet the full‑spectrum mission and supporting needs of the customer community.
- Develop and maintain collaborative and responsive internal relationships across the Naval Power SBU, such as Supply Chain, Finance, and R&C.
- Travel as needed.
- Raytheon and RTX business acumen.
- Organizational structure of SBU & SSBU, responsibilities among programs and functional areas, and deliverables.
- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Prior program or project management experience.
- Experience working with internal and external customers on scheduling and on‑time delivery.
- Experience working cross‑functionally with Engineering and Development programs.
- Level 5 PM certification or equivalent industry‑related PM certifications.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government‑issued security enfrenta required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start. U.S. citizenship is required.
- Relevant advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience managing programs with high technical risk and high visibility.
- Experience in Engineering and Manufacturing Development, Transition to Production and/or Production programs.
- Experience communicating complex technical knowledge to customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain long‑term business relationships with customers and partners.
- Experience managing programs using a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Experience and demonstrated success managing change, building teams in a matrixed organization, developing leaders and mentoring others.
- Program Management Certification Level 4 or external equivalency PM certifications.
- An active and in‑scope Top‑Secret U.S. security clearance.
- Current program access.

qqut Salary Range: $157,200 USD – $298,800 USD. Qualified candidates will be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Hired applicants may also be eligible for annual incentive compensation programs based on level and collective‑bargaining agreement.
