Palo Verde Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Tech! Come join our Team!!

This position is responsible for ensuring the facility is in an excellent and safe condition at all times. It will train staff and ensure the smooth running of upkeep and repair operations. The Lead Maintenance Tech must be reliable, detail‑oriented, and possess knowledge of various crafts (carpentry, plumbing) and technical skills. The role also serves as the go‑to resource for the department and assists in scheduling.

• Inspect buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor tests, inspections, and perform other assigned tasks in support of utility management.
• Assist in preparing weekly maintenance schedules.
• Oversee and train maintenance staff.
• Coordinate repairs and oversee tradesmen for installations, repairs, and maintenance.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of three (3) years of experience required.
• Must be available for nights and weekend for occasional on‑call duty.
• Must have knowledge of basic HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and painting.

• Must be tested for tuberculosis with a PPD skin test or chest X‑ray upon hire; PPD skin test required annually or chest X‑ray every 4 years thereafter.
• Must obtain and maintain a Class 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance.
