JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Equipment Maintenance Technician will assist in ensuring effective shop operations without interruptions and highest level of efficiency by preventively maintaining all equipment and repairing equipment when required. Will adhere to and suggest improvements in the preventative maintenance program and notify the Warehouse Manager of any concerns related to critical spares inventory. The Equipment Maintenance Technician will maintaining complete and accurate records.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

• Minimize unplanned machine down-time by adhering to preventive maintenance standards
• Problem-solve and trouble shoot equipment issues
• Follow through on maintenance needs around the facility
• Perform daily equipment and fixture calibration and preventive maintenance checks to ensure operators are keeping up with daily maintenance requirements
• Notify the Warehouse Manager of any issues or concerns related to compliance with OSHA and other regulations
• Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner
• Notify Warehouse Manager of any items that need to be purchased
• Maintain complete and accurate maintenance records
• Schedule and complete Preventive Maintenance after production has ended or before it starts; never during the production day
• Ensure ALL equipment is in working order regardless of its current utilization
• Train all new and current staff on proper equipment operation and daily maintenance
