Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Job Summary
Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company-owned vehicle.
- Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listen to and resolve service complaints.
- Visually inspect and assess machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to gain access to problem area.
- Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts; repair broken parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation following repair.
- Review inventory and order parts; ship and receive machines; maintain equipment inventory.
- Prepare machines for installation at accounts; assist in installations and removals.
- Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools, such as drills, grinders and welding torches, for machine repair.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous mechanical experience with vending, coffee or ice machines preferred.
- Full‑time schedule:
Monday through Friday; hours may vary. - Location:
Canteen – 1101 East Palmdale Street, Tucson, AZ 85714. Online applications accepted only. - Fixed pay rate: $20.00 per hour.
