We offer:

* Training period: comprehensive 10-week training period - 8 weeks in the field working side by side with a dedicated trainer & 2 weeks classroom-based training in Loveland, CO.

* 3 days off per week! After completion of training, your schedule will consist of 4 shifts per week at 10-hour days based on workload demand.

The Field Service Technician I is responsible for the delivery of high-quality customer service, performing preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of Hach devices located at our customer sites. The customer base for this role is anticipated to be a combination of municipal (i.e., drinking and wastewater treatment facilities) and industrial (i.e., power plants and food and beverage plants).

Tucson, AZ - remote.

In this role, you will:

* Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.

* Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.

* Work in a wide variety of municipal and industrial settings, including but not limited to drinking water & wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, food & beverage processing facilities, etc....Some applications may involve instrument servicing in NEC hazardous locations (Class I Division
2)
* * Submits prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.

* Follows safe work practices according to company policy.

* Executes administrative activities in support of service visits.

* Daily travel to customer sites. This role will be based in the Tucson, AZ, area and supports our customers throughout the territory. Expect up to 75% travel. Company-paid travel, accommodations, and meals are provided for overnight stays. You can expect to have 1 or 2 overnight stays per week.

The essential requirements of the job include:

* HS Diploma required;
Associates/technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.

* Basic mechanical aptitude is a must - experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair is helpful but not required.

* 2 or more years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles preferred.
