- Repair engine, transmission, drive axle, brakes, steering & suspension
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Do paperwork using a computer
- A high school diploma, GED or equivalent education (required)
- Two years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic
- Certifications (preferred but not required)
- Driver's license (required)

- 1/2" Drive Impact Wrench
- Wrenches (SAE & Metric)
- Screwdrivers:
Flat blade & Phillips - Pliers:
Channel lock, long nose, wire strippers, crimpers - Punches:
Straight, Center Punch, chisels - Hammers:
Ball pein, dead blow, soft, sledge - Pickle Fork
- Oil Filter Wrench
- Test light
- Multimeter
- Toolbox or Cart
