Job Description SummaryDepartment - County Attorney
Job Description- This recruitment is to establish a register for current and future Legal Processing Support vacancies in the Pima County Attorney's Office.

Salary Range: $16.54 - $22.33 per hour (Hiring Range: $16.54 - $19.43)

The hiring range is an estimate; actual salary offers will consider skills, experience, education, licenses, training, and internal equity.
- Answer procedural questions from the public and staff regarding documents, policies, and services.
- Compile confidential information and prepare legal documents.
- Maintain and update records, files, logs, and status reports.
- Index, classify, code, and file records and reports.
- Conduct computer searches for criminal histories, asset info, and employment details using restricted access resources.
- Interview clients to gather or verify information for case records.
- Retrieve and provide case disposition info, and manage case records and client files.
- Develop and manage spreadsheets and databases.
- Schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments.
- Gather info and prepare routine legal documents like complaints, warrants, and depositions.
- Review case files for completeness and contact relevant parties for missing documents.
- Assemble daily court calendars, prioritize trials or hearings, and relay info to judges and parties.
- Handle payments, issue receipts, and verify cash intake.
- Coordinate processing actions with other units and outside agencies, and assist clients or applicants.
- Six (6) months of legal clerical experience or one (1) year of general clerical experience.
- Relevant education or experience from an accredited college or university may substitute.
