Job Description- This recruitment aims to establish a register for current and future Attorney II vacancies across all levels and assignments within the Pima County Public Defense Services Department, including roles such as Legal Advocate, Legal Defender, Mental Health Defender, Office of Children's Counsel, Public Defender, and Public Fiduciary.

Salary offers are based on the candidate's relevant experience and internal equity. The role involves managing complex legal cases, providing direct client representation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advocate for clients' outcomes.
Essential FunctionsAttorneys will prosecute or defend complex criminal or civil cases, manage demanding caseloads, represent county departments in litigation, prepare legal documents, advise officials, negotiate settlements, conduct trials, develop legal strategies, and ensure compliance with professional standards.
Minimum QualificationsJuris Doctorate and five (5) years of relevant prosecutorial or legal experience.
