This role sits at the intersection of two critical initiatives:
1. The Digital Lab: A comprehensive portfolio designed to Simplify, Connect, and Analyze scientific workflows across the entire R&D value chain.
2. The NEST Project: A strategic digital transformation mission to retire legacy tools and implement a modern, scalable Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for biospecimen management.
You will drive initiatives in data governance, compliance, and process improvement to enable innovation in global diagnostics R&D operations.
Key Responsibilities 1. Consulting on Digital Tool Development & Integration- Provide strategic advice on selecting, designing, and integrating LIMS, biorepository platforms, and documentation frameworks to improve R&D workflow efficiency.
- Optimize digital solutions for sample and specimen management, ensuring they support accurate data capture, traceability, and collaboration across global sites.
- Support the NEST Project by consulting on the migration from legacy tools to a unified platform, ensuring legacy systems fully divest by the target deadline.
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce inefficiencies and waste in laboratory operations.
- Conduct process mapping to identify challenges in documentation and inventory management, designing scalable solutions that align with R&D goals.
- Bridge the gap between scientific needs and technical architecture by identifying "functionality gaps" in current workflows.
